About the role
BRNDS21 is Suriname's #1 brand & growth consultancy. As we scale, we are looking for an Operations Manager to be the engine room of the studio — the person who makes sure great work ships on time, the team runs smoothly, and clients feel the difference of working with a truly organised partner.
You will own how the studio runs day to day: project flow, planning, processes, and the systems that let strategists, designers, marketers, and videographers do their best work without chaos. If you love turning busy into structured and you take pride in things running on time, this is your role.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end project delivery — planning, timelines, capacity, and on-time hand-off across all client work.
- Run the weekly rhythm of the studio: status meetings, priorities, and resource planning.
- Build and improve processes, templates, and tools so the team works faster and more consistently.
- Be the operational point of contact that keeps clients informed and projects on track.
- Track utilisation, deadlines, and profitability, and flag risks before they become problems.
- Coordinate freelancers and suppliers when projects scale up.
- Support the founders with reporting, planning, and keeping the business organised as it grows.
Requirements
- 3+ years in operations, project management, or studio/agency coordination.
- Exceptionally organised — you live in checklists, timelines, and clear systems.
- Strong communicator in Dutch and English, comfortable with both team and clients.
- Calm under pressure; you turn moving parts into a clear plan.
- Comfortable with project tools (Notion, Trello, ClickUp, or similar) and quick to learn new ones.
- Based in or able to work from Paramaribo, Suriname.
- Bonus: experience in a creative, marketing, or professional-services environment.
